I have built and sold custom graphite and fiberglass fishing rods for over 20 years.
I've extended that passion to teaching fly casting and am certified to do so through Texas Parks and Wildlife. I am a member of Trout Unlimited. I live near Lake Richland Chambers and fish for all freshwater fish species in Texas, South Dakota, New Mexico, Maine, and the West.
My fishing experience includes kayak and wade fishing for redfish and other saltwater species along the Texas coast. I will fish for tarpon, permit, and bonefish when time allows in Puerto Rico and Mexico. When not fishing, I build fly and casting rods, one at a time.

I can build from Carbon Fiber, Graphite, or Fiberglass fishing rod blanks.
I can also help if you have a bamboo fly rod that needs rework or attention. I've spent years working on and successfully restoring bamboo rods that some would consider well past their prime.
When choosing a grip, I can shape cork or find a synthetic to fit your hands perfectly. I am focused on customer service and delight in including personalized touches on each of my custom fishing rod builds. There are no labels here; please look for my handwritten script on each custom rod.
